One of the most important lessons i've learned from this course is the significance of proper documentation and proper citation to avoid plagiarism and acknowledge other researchers and authors. Understanding how to properly document and cite your papers not only safeguards you against unintentional plagiarism but also serves as a mark of respect for other authors

One of the most important things I can take from this classes is being able to diversify my writing styles. Throughout this class doing different projects we worked on different writing styles with things such as research papers, then other things that were tailored to a younger audience for them to be able to absorb the information.

ROI of Degrees

While exploring my discipline, I went into writing a paper comparing the return on investment (ROI) of Computer Science degrees versus other fields like Business. This research nor only honed my ability to analyze data obtained by researchers but also enhanced my understanding of post-graduation salary trends across various academic domains. It helped me be able to analyze the data and use it in my argument on my own papers.

Cybersecurity

In one of the argumentative papers I argue the need to increase cybersecurity measures within the united states and while doing so I've learned a good amount of new information about areas of my discipline.

Cybersecurity has made a big impact. It's changed how we think about technology and how we protect important things, like our data and important systems.

Communicating Ideas

I've learned how to share my thoughts better. We practiced on discussion boards and as well as Flipgrid. Doing so helped me express my ideas in writing and through short videos. It also gave me the chance to hear from others and respond to their thoughts. This interactive way of learning boosted my confidence in presenting my opinions and strengthened my ability to engage in meaningful discussions both online and in person.
