If I was born in 1960s in Canada my life would have been full of surprises and serendipity. Before Lester. B. Pearson became the prime minister of Canada, Canada was in a cold war and was still under influence of Britain ; however Canada had a big change during 1960s when Lester. B. Pearson showed his great contribution to Canada. Because of him, all citizens of Canada could benefit a free health care and live more freely. I would be living a life everyday happily. I consider this as an important event because if the racist immigration policies were still existed, Canada wouldn't have been a multicultural country like it is.
