In his shoes, or the lack thereof, I would've felt an instant connection to the feeling of being overwhelmed by the task of cleaning up after a disastrous flood. But I also cannot help feeling a sense of being resolute in putting a plan in action after much thought.

I feel pitiful for this man who probably has many things going through his mind and feeling helpless at the moment about the situation he faced. At the same time, I feel he is thinking about what the future holds and reflecting how he can improve his current situation.

The man seems to be staring into something, probably while being deep in thought. All this while his surroundings seem to be in a wreck. Looking at this picture, I feel fortunate to be able to live in conditions that are far better off compared to what the man is in, especially since we are lucky enough to be citizens of a country that does not have to face natural disasters. I am also grateful for being granted another day to live in the company of my loved ones.
