My favorite video out of the three listed was #2 categorizing emotions. The first thing that I learned from the video was that categorizing emotions differs from culture to culture. Certain cultures, like Germany, have descriptive words to explain their emotions.

The second thing I learned was that emotions are essential for human development and existence. I thought it was interesting that culturally learned emotions tend to take a longer time to process whereas fundamental emotions are processed very quickly.

The last point that I thought was interesting was that emotions get processed at different speeds which determines where they are processed though the body and brain. Such as the limbic system, which tends to process the more primary emotions because they need to be processed quicker than the more complex emotions.
