When comparing cultural and musical dissonance, cultural dissonance can be described as the clash that is created or present between cultural ideologies, values, etc; while musical dissonance primarily consists of there being a lack of harmony between two or more notes being played. While different in definition, both share the similar quality of being "dissonant" as there is a "tension" or "imbalance" present within music and culture.

She didn't hold back in her performance as a guest feature. She used her body to dance with J Balvin's song and portrayed herself in a way she felt comfortable and proud of.

Racialized Queerness is an uncomfortable, yet important concept for people that are queer as well as those that are not. A race does not change someone's level of queerness, though such thinking styles are real. How queer you are does not change if you were Black, White, Asian or Hispanic. The fact that queerness can possibly have adverse levels to it depending on race is simply unethical.
