This online course is my second MOOC on European Schoolnet Academy. I believe it is going to be as useful as the previous one.
MENTEP (Mentoring Technology-Enhanced Pedagogy) is a major European Research project to boost teachers’ competence and confidence to use Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in the classroom. The project, which runs from March 2015 to February 2018, investigates the potential of an online Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) to empower teachers to progress in their Technology-Enhanced Teaching (TET) competence at their own pace.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
In the first place, the tool raises an awareness of the digital competencies of teachers. It made me question and think about my practices in the classroom. The questions in the four basic areas are very well designed but some of the answers look similar to me and I got in between. I think I need to fully understand digital competencies.

My competence level for digital competence is Capable (57%) according to the TETSAT tool.  It seems that I need to improve my digital skills in some areas especially creative production and programming.
