         <description><![CDATA[<div>I'm working at a public multi-program high school. There are three departments for different preferences of students. My students are aged between 14-18. My school is located in a rural area and 35 kilometers away from the city center. We have interactive boards in every classroom but the internet connection is poor in some classrooms. In the school, there is also a computer lab. There are computers and printers in teachers' room. In some of my classes, I let my students use their mobile phones/tablets for collaborative activities. </div>]]></description>

I believe it is going to be as useful as the previous one.</div><blockquote>MENTEP (<strong>Men</strong>toring <strong>T</strong>echnology-<strong>E</strong>nhanced <strong>P</strong>edagogy) is a major European Research project to boost teachers’ competence and confidence to use Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) in the classroom. The project, which runs from March 2015 to February 2018, investigates the potential of an online Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) to empower teachers to progress in their Technology-Enhanced Teaching (TET) competence at their own pace.</blockquote>]]></description>

         <title>2.4 Self-assessment with TET-SAT                                                              Result of my MENTEP Survey</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The survey made me realise my strong and weak competences. My competence level for digital competence is <mark>Capable</mark> (57%) according to the TETSAT tool.&nbsp; It seems that I need to improve my digital skills in some areas especially creative production and programming. There are also resource pages for each area in <a href="http://mentep.eun.org/resource-ecosystem">http://mentep.eun.org/resource-ecosystem</a>. This is the next online resource by which I am going to start improving my digital competences. So, the first stop will be "Digital Use and Production" page. I really find the resource pages useful bacause now I can refer to these pages when I need to improve my digital skills.&nbsp; In this sense, this course would be very helpful for my professional development. Also, <a href="https://education.microsoft.com/">https://education.microsoft.com/</a> offers many free courses for teachers.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
