Fad Diets don't ever really go out of style. There will always be one or more that will be "trending" at the moment. As mentioned by many others, the Keto diet is extremely popular right now with many thinking the fat consumed in mass quantity is actually good for them because they do not feel the hunger pains of their body craving real sustenance or nutrients. They would much rather pump their body full of meat and fat with a side of sugar alcohols and use that chemical and trick their brain and then their bodies that they are not lacking on many fruits or vegetables that they actually need for a balanced meal. For some, the Keto diet really does work for them. For many others it does not and when they get frustrated with it, it often backfires as they turn around and over indulge to make up for what they lost out on during that time. They become obsessive too and you can't help but wonder if Keto is also a cult by how strict some of them can be.
