While walking around my neighborhood, I found an avocado tree. This looked like a very old tree and had many avocados fallen onto the ground under it. I also came across my neighbors huge lime tree in their front yard, which my family uses very often to make meals and drinks. I came across all sorts of different plants and trees that grow edible and good food that can be easily foraged and then replenished after use. It was nice to see all the gardens and trees around my neighborhood and made me realize that if I was a forager, I would have many options for resources and food around my home.

More than anything, I saw quite a few orange trees, which are a pretty solid fruit to have in your diet. I also passed a bunch of lemon trees, a number of cacti, an apricot tree, a tangerine tree, and an avocado tree. There were several berry bushes I saw too, but I wasn't sure if the berries were edible so those may be risky. Overall, there seems to be a decent variety of natural food in the neighborhoods around me, which would all be quite valuable for foragers.

I didn't have to go far to look for food resources. Our neighbor's lemon tree is always full of lemons all year long. There have been many times when I would just lean over the fence and pluck a few lemons occasionally. Now I should also mention, we have a close friendship with our neighbors and we constantly exchange foods and groceries. Also, I myself have a baby lemon tree in my backyard along with Lokat tree, mint, oranges and some herbs. When I went outside in my neighborhood, I saw many other resources such as orange tree, pumpkins, squash and cucumbers growing in some of my neighbor's backyards. I think foragers might just enjoy living in my neighborhood as there were variety of options here.
