During the discussion I've learned that our educational system has strength and flaws. It's main strength is the resilience and flexibility of the teaching force and the whole educational administration, and I think it's of the noble characteristics also of a Filipino. The main flaw of our educational system is the corrupt officials of the bureaus. Along with it is the lack or absence of quality school facilities and learning materials both digital and tangible resources. As for the future, I'm hoping that a miracle can happen and that someone can lead the ph eductional system with genuine heart and noble goal to help the Philippines. Then change can really happen, but for now it's hard to see that trajectory. As a future school leader, I envision myself as actively contributing in any ways I can to uplift and transform the system. I hope to contribute meaningful actions by pioneering projects, benchmarks, and researches to collectively impact the quality of teaching, learning, planning, and managing.

The future of our educational system will be very weak because base from the latest survey of the performance in Math, reading and science conducted by PISA we are in the 77th rank out of 81 countries. The weakness in our basic education system will continue and eventually translate into the weakness of our workforce and can greatly affect the productivity and primary source of economic growth and global competitiveness.

As a teacher and educational leader we play a vital role in improving the academic performance of Filipino learners. We as molder of youngs'mind and role model we will commit ourselves to do our duties and responsibilities religiously so that we can give our best to deliver quality education to our clients. It needs highly dedicated teachers and leaders to change the present status of our educational system into a better one and deliver quality basic education to our learners. Teachers can do this by applying all the knowledge, strategies gained from seminars and trainings. School leaders must also cooperative by giving technical assistance and moral support and providing supplies for Instructional Materials through proper and wise use of School MOOE.

Based on the discussion, the Department of Education has faced a lot of challenges and changes. Even though the constitution mandates that education must receive the highest budget allocation, teachers still face a lack of support, scarcity of learning resources, and struggle to attain quality education for all. Many administrators have not performed well in their field, and many teachers become burnt out due to unjust administration, abuse of authority, and other issues. In some cases, there are good administrators, but teachers who resist new principals due to loyalty to the previous corrupt principal create a challenging situation. If this scenario continues, our educational system will degrade, and our learners will suffer, preventing our ability to achieve the true quality education we aspire to.

As a future teacher and leader in our educational system, I must uphold the responsibilities I pledge I must do these;

1. Encouraging Equity and Access: I will work to ensure that every student has equal access to high-quality education, regardless of their environment or background. This includes assisting pupils with unique needs and addressing the digital divide.

2. Encouraging Innovation and Creativity: By utilizing new pedagogical techniques and tools, I will promote an innovative and creative culture in the classroom. I will give educators the freedom to try out new approaches to capture students' attention.

3. Building Strong Relationships: I will strive to build trusting relationships with the community, parents, teachers, and students. I believe that establishing a helpful and productive learning environment requires teamwork. It warms my heart to work in a positive environment where teachers receive attention and care from administrators. Collaboration is essential for achieving common goals.

4. Supporting Professional Development: I will make efforts in teachers' professional development and provide them with opportunities to advance their careers. I believe that the secret to developing an excellent educational system is giving teachers greater influence.

I firmly believe that education is the foundation for a brighter future for the Philippines.

My insights with this, aside from constant revision of our school curriculum is that, school administrators (school heads/Principals) should be the one who designed or propose such programs which help the huge problem in the field hence, most believed that only in the field who has a firsthand experience can solve the problem lies within. Superiors should lessen designed different programs given to the field which in fact, we are aware that their programs are for their self-interests. Instead, let the subordinates identify the problems and let them design to address the solution and make the school heads as the representative to the higher office as the messenger of the proposed solutions.

Maybe, if heard by higher officials in that matter we can create change, especially of having mass non-readers nationwide.

And if not, frankly, based on my observation I would say the future of our educational system will be a great downfall in the near future (its already happening, the PISA result says a lot).

As a teacher and future educational administrator I envisioned my role in shaping the future as great mentor, a good leader, guidance and making myself the bridge for the betterment of our society,nation and globally. Change always start within ourselves,being a good role model I know I can make a change.

Darren C. Cañares

Technology has always flourished for the gain of mankind and every part of the world today is enjoying the comfort of technology. Thinking of what education might look like in the next decade or in the future brought me on how technology has an impact to our educational system. The rapid progression of ICT brought significant changes in the field of education transforming teaching and learning process into more productive, interactive and creative environment. Integration of technology in teaching and learning process can come up with creative ways to teach the learners the concepts and keeping them engaged in such a way that learners can explore, be independent and more personalized learning but as a teacher we must remind ourselves that technology should be a tool only in the teaching and learning process, teachers control the tools not the other way around. Due to some factors, we must not relay to the technology all the time instead of utilizing educational tools to our lesson, we can localize and conceptualized materials that is available and feasible to use that makes learning easy and fun. I envision myself as a teacher and educational leader who constantly adapt to changes, an innovative and expert in the field of education. I want to take a deliberate action to improve my skills not in the field of ICT but also dwell myself to pedagogy, strategies and approaches in teaching that would be my first step to become a knowledgeable person and I will be able to share my expertise to my subordinate. An expert that can share about different types of educational tools that improve teacher’s instruction, approaches and pedagogy.

Based on what was happening in our educational system and what have I learned from the discussion. Educational system has multi layered structure that faces challenge that hinder it's effectiveness like budget constraints, skills gap, administration attitudes towards its role etc but through focusing on core skills, personalized learning and continuous improvement, it could make a significant impact . As a future leader I guess the contribution to address such challenges is to create a more equitable learning environment. Targeted support program community collaboration ,data transparency etc effective leadership is about commitment to continuous improvement.

In our present scenario in the educational system of our country really comparable to the other countries. In some situation, there still in need of revision and continues development. Still there are many pupils/students who are insufficiently equitable with knowledge and wisdom to face the different challenges in life.Our educational journey is continuously changing. There are some current issues which still unresolved due to the shortage of funds and materials for implementation. In order to resolve the issues, different strategies and principles were being test under the curriculum development plan.

In line with with these, I can further said, as a teacher and future educational leader, we can do more surprising to shape the future of our young learners. We must be inspired everyday and enjoy the field of teaching, it says that teachers who express passion for their work can also inspire and touch the lives of others. We can create positive learning environment by being friendly and approachable to our learners and to all the stakeholders in our community. By possessing positive point of views we can change the world and transform the educational system into much better situation.
