Plus I wouldn’t want to stay in school any longer than 8 hours because I get bored easily and I always set a schedule for what I want to do after school at a certain time.  But yeah, I like to set a schedule for myself and just having to extend the hours of school for just 4 days will ruin my schedule or even my mood. In my school, from Monday to Friday, school starts at 9AM to 3PM which is basically 8 hours. I like how the time is set and I wouldn’t want it to change but if it has to, due to other reasons related to the staff, then I guess I can accept it because I’m just a student not the principal, I can’t manage the time for the school.

I am already accustomed to attending school 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. Another note is to remember class hours start at 9:00 AM for Kaimuki high school. If I were to attend school from 9:00 AM and to assume the 10 hour duration is in effect, not only will it be a strain on students but teachers as well. From 9:00 AM to 5:00/7:00PM will school still be in session. Effectively shortening hours to study or maybe extending it past what some call grave hours(Very early at night a well as Very Early in the morning.) Student will have either have to sacrifice sleep for assignments or Sacrifice grading to maintain their sleep schedule. Teacher(s) will have to endure longer hours of class whether they should or should not agree. I can think of Ms. Low to not be very satisfied with this Change. Not to mention; after school activities would not exist. Well maybe they might (like photography) but then wouldn't that have effects going beyond Hawaii? Now on the other hand...attending class for two more hours is indeed not a viable agreement but is also isn't the worst option. At least release times will not be past 6:00PM. Students and teacher will be exhausted, based on how committed they are to their work or study. Some of us may not live within walking distance to the school. Therefore getting caught in traffic, further delaying the time elapsed for person(s) to arrive home. But if all are online [at home] then it may be otherwise. But to stare at the screen for longer periods of time past the accustomed 6 hours? The days are short enough, I personally wouldn't want less time in school if it were to mean I would have more time at home. For example, I feel like if we were go to school for a shorter amount of time .. naturally  that would mean cramming more time into learning things at school. Just so we can go home and work more, without that same support system we'd get in a school environment.
