Castor oil principle, is what I felt I resonated with the most. The reason for this is because occasionally I have to make small decisions. Whenever I say no to something, to me it means I am going with the other option, it is an automatic "yes." Even if I do not agree. But sometimes I don't want to choose either of the choices. But the universe always has an ending to these, and I end up with one or the other. Types of things I am dealing with relating to the principle are deciding major, work, buying albums, etc.

1. My full name is Shaylee Puamaikalani Chiemi Gonsalves. My mother found my first name "Shaylee." A family member from my father's side had a dream and I think in that dream someone or somebody told him "Puamaikalani," so that's how I got my first middle name. For "Chiemi," I am not too sure, but I believe my mother or her side of the family gave me this name, as my mom's side is Japanese. "Gonsalves" is my father's last name and I guess my parents decided to use this name.
During my childhood, my family called me "Shay" or "Shayleegirl." As I got older some just called me Shay, but senior year of high school a friend I met the year before thought my name was "Shayle," so he would call me that. Nowadays I like using "Shayle," I usually put that as my nickname and for games, etc.

2. I guess I live in more of an Americanized community, my family does not celebrate their cultures. But on my mom's side, we do eat a Japanese dish with mochi on New Year and we have two family events every year. Though I have about six ethnicities, and I do not feel particularly close to any. But besides culture and ethnicities, I am not a- part of a group of people, for example, many have a group of friends that portray an aesthetic like this group likes anime, manga, etc while another goes to the beach and parties all the time.

3. A gift. I find this rather hard because I don't know. But I know I can be artistic in designing clothing. But I don't use it as much as I did as a child.

1. Food; I try to eat healthily but sometimes I have cravings for salty/sugary snacks. I was on a gluten-free diet and after a month I went back to eating wheat, I do not have a because.

2. Water; I only drink water, I actually mix it with a powdered hydrator. Once in a while, I will give in to banana/strawberry milk or Chilsung cider (Similar to sprite).

3. Shelter; I live in my grandma's house, but when going out I apply sunscreen to my face, and sometimes arms and legs depending on what I am wearing and where I'm going. For colder temperatures, I get cold easily so I normally wear long sleeves all the time, but if I wear a short top, I always bring a jacket/cardigan with me.

4. Sleep; My sleep schedule is not aligned to the times from bed time-wake up time I want it to be at. I would like to go to bed by 10:00 pm, I can do it but I work nighttime shifts almost every day and I get home closer to 9 pm, weekends are a little earlier. And I always stay up late to do my homework. This is why I would sleep in till 12 pm in the afternoon, eat lunch, relax or do some more homework, then get ready to leave for work. I don't have a (social) life really.

5. Others; Like the statement above, I have no social life whatsoever. I am that person who does not like to be touched and I am definitely not sane. I think January of 2020 was the last time I have hung out with "Friends." Honestly, it was 95% my doing, I chose to stop communicating with most of those I went to high school with and pretty much everyone I knew. I did this because some people I had weird or on and off friendships with, being used, I felt like I was the only one reaching out to people to hang out and talk to, no one made effort to talk to me or. ask to hang out. Going back to being used, people would only message me when they want something from me. People spread rumors about me, one saying I was bipolar. I lost trust in people, I find it hard for me to trust people now.

To be honest, I am happy, I'm living a good life. I don't believe you need others for emotional and physical connection. And I don't have any improvements I need for this need.

6. Novelty; I think I could improve in Novelty. Like keeping my motivation to want to complete college and earn a degree. To get good grades and be smart. I need to take more advantage of this opportunity for me to be able to go to school. My mother told me a while back that I am lucky that my father is willing to pay for my tuition and should take advantage of it. I also need to think more positively when I am having a hard time with an assignment because I know that I can always reach out for help.
