Cronus was the God of all Titans and Titan of the Harvest. He was mostly known for his habit of eating his own children.
Cronus's mother, Gaia, created a great stone sickle. She then gathered Cronus and his siblings and asked them to kill their father Uranus. Only Cronus was up to it so Gaia gave him the sickle and he killed Uranus.
Afterwards, Cronus became the ruler of the World. The period in which Cronus ruled was called the Golden Age. In fear of a prophecy that he would be overthrown by his own son, Cronus swallowed each of his children as they were born.
