I do love how it gives a ton of Tory in the newer movie, and I think it’s better than the original. It gives us a better explanation than just they live there now. I recommend reading the book or watching the movies. Yes, yes I did very much… but I did not like the ending so much because it was just not funny, did not really have much fun scenes in the end. Do I like the 2002 version better or the book? If I had to decide, I would pick the 2002 version because it was much more funnier in the end in how Willy Wonka kept on hitting the door of the glass elevator by accident! Also be i as it was more personal and it was more heartwarming. Would I recommend this book to someone? But the newer version of the ending is way better because he met his dad! It’s a very nice ending and they all sat and ate at the dinner table. I feel like the newer ending is a more realistic ending than giving a kid a chocolate factory. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a great book. I liked this book because it had great illustrations and it was an interesting story. Also, I felt that Willy Wonka made a great impact in the story because he is a really mysterious guy, but a good person at the same time. So, I recommend this book to other because it was totally worth reading and taking notes on. 

The ending I liked best was the newer ending. I liked this ending more because I felt it was a more complete ending. Also, it gave us more details towards Willy Wonka because in the newer ending it showed Mr. Wonka’s dad.

It shows willy wonka gets to see his dad again which I like. Another detail they added was they all sat down and ate thanksgiving dinner. We don’t hear those two details in the book.
