Ss previous knowledge: Ss have already learnt simple past tense 

Class objective: teach present perfect tense based on the previous knowledge of simple past tense 

WARM UP: 

Ask Ss to share they do every week 

Ask them to talk about their experiences using complete sentences 

Ask them to write down their answers on paper and share with class 

 

Introduction: 

T: pick up some actions that contains meaning of “present perfect” tense, and introduce the form “has/have + pp” 

Remind ss some irregular past participle verb forms 

 

Practice: 

Rephrase their sentences with present perfect tense, and share with group members 

Ask ss to “peer review” their groupmates’ answers 

 

Follow up: 

Ts check ss answers, and ask them what difficulty they encountered during task completion
