         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Aim:</strong> To allow students to work together and discuss and identify the importance of practicing food safety.<br><br>In pairs of two, learners will discuss why they think food safety is of importance. Learners will then share their answers on Padlet. <br><br>As a class, learners will review answers on Padlet and discuss reasons why food safety is important.<br><br>Prompts - food poisoning, people with immune system vulnerabilities, allergies.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Aim:</strong> Learners will investigate the common causes of food poisoning and three types of food poisoning causing bacteria.<br><br>For this section learners will log onto a Menti.com and are asked to research online what three common causes of food poisoning are and to name three bacteria that cause food illness. Learners will then post their findings on Menti.com. <br><br>Those who have difficulties with technology can link in with another learner and they can present their findings as a team. <br><br><strong>Timing:</strong> <br>25 minutes<br><br><strong>Resource:</strong> Mentimeter and the web</div>]]></description>
