Luckily, we have a small lifeboat  with oars. It’s a tiny boat, but you have enough space to save five useful items to aid your group survival. The following is a list of fifteen items that are intact and undamaged after the fire. 

 

Your task as a group is to select the five items you want to take with you and rank them in terms of their importance for your survival. Number 1 means ’most important’, number 2 is ’second most important’, and so on. You have to all agree to the top 5 items in 3 mins. Be thoughtful and considerate of your companions’ ideas when choosing the five items, because you might have to spend several weeks or more in your lifeboat before rescuers find you.

4. Mosquito netting

5. One case of field rations (food)

6. Maps 

7. Seat cushion (flotation device)

8. 5-litre can  of petrol

9. Small transistor radio

10. Shark repellent

11. 10 sq metres of opaque plastic

12. 75cl  Barcadi Gold Rum

13. 5 metres of nylon rope

14. 2 boxes of chocolate bars

15. Fishing kit
