The smell of new beginnings.
For the first time after a very long time, I was challenged to recall and remember everything I have studied and practiced throughout my teaching journey.

I gradually familiarized myself with the workplace, and socialized with my co-workers.

We were tasked to facilitate and welcome the kids and their parents in the lobby. A little confused about what to do, I definitely gathered all my courage to talk and welcome the kids with enthusiasm and excitement. 
This was a nerve-wracking moment because I was preparing for my demo teaching for the next day.

It was as if all the worries and fear faded out.
I was able to execute my lessons well, and I had a really good time with my students in the classroom as well as in the Zoom conference.
I was really nervous at first especially when Teacher Gerby was watching but thank God, He carried me through and reminded me all the steps I needed to do.
I really missed the feeling of accomplishment and achievement and I consider this as one because I know that I handled the class well.

I assisted Teacher Princess in her Free Trial class.
I had a really good time also and was able to connect once more to my students yesterday.
It was really exciting because the kids were very much willing to learn.
We, again, were tested to carry out our creativity in formulating activities without prior preparation. I was surprised because I was asked to prepare to take over this class tomorrow for she will not be around.
I suddenly remembered the time I was teaching elementary, specifically Grades 5 and 6, in my previous school.
Thankfully, I had the background on how to approach differently the intermediate level.
I studied about Phonemic Awareness in Reading Class and Affixes.
Thanks to these unplanned activities for I was able to sharpen all the things I have learned from Teacher Gerby and the rest of the teachers.

In the afternoon, we had our quiz on Subject-Verb Agreement with Teacher Gerby.
We also had our trainings on applications like Zoom, Canva and Google with Teacher Dana and Teacher Anna as to how effectively use these software in lesson preparations and executions.

I conducted my class in Teacher Dulce's classroom. My students are Hannah Mikaela, Samantha, Nicole, Alexa Jade and Rihanna. These girls were all bright and fun to be with. They participated well on my activities and we had a great time in the discussion. I know it's only for a day that I will be teaching them but I am looking forward to have them in my class for the next school years to come. I learned that with continuous practice, you will be able to conduct your classes well and with guarantee that your students have learned something from you.
