CISV GB through the ages by Rose Hannah Wittenberg https://padlet.com/rosewittenberg2/CISVGB75 We want to share all the amazing things we have been doing in CISV Great Britain for the past 75 years. Add a photo and a story to our gallery. en-us 2026-02-26 17:59:40 UTC 2026-05-04 18:58:55 UTC hello@padlet.com https://padlet.net/icons/8.0/svg/1f5fa.svg Village to NJR rosewittenberg2 https://padlet.com/rosewittenberg2/CISVGB75/wish/3803945595 In 2010 I went on my village to Austria, I'm the one bottom left in the apron and hat.

In 2022 I went back to the same campsite, this time as NJR, for EMEAJBM. My senior NJR Penny was sick of hearing me talk about this fact. But it brought back so many amazing memories.

I feel so greatful to have experienced these 2 camps, as well as the many others I have inbetween and since.

CISV will always hold a special place in my heart, at age 11, 22 or now as NAR and President of GB at 26.

The bond you make with the other staff or leaders on a camp is unparalleled. You go through so much together and it all brings you closer. I am always so greatful to have a strong adult group on a camp, this past summer was no differet! 🫶

This summer I was a leader in Galicia, Spain and it was such a new an amazing experience to be a part of a camp as an adult instead of a participant. I’m looking forward to my next camp and the new experiences/perspectives I’ll gain from it!!

I joined CISV when I was 11 and since then I have stepped up to roles that I could never have imagine myself doing. CISV reminds me that the world is a small place and that there is a friend around every corner

Love laugh live

We became involved when my brother turned 11 and went on a Village to Paris. As I was older my first experience was as a JC, then seminar and staff at a Newcastle Village in 1995. My Mum staffed a Village in Newcastle the year I went on seminar (1992).

My sons are now involved. They’ve both been to a Village and a YM.

Let’s keep the amazing experiences enjoyed through CISV alive.
