Guayaquil has faced serious problems with insecurity in recent years. There were many reports of robberies and assaults in different neighborhoods of the city. In some areas, there were shootings during the night, and there wasn’t enough lighting in the streets.

A week ago, I had an emergency. I became unconscious after taking a very strong pill, my vision was blurry, I was dizzy, my ears were ringing, I had nausea, and I was short of breath. My dad immediately took me to the emergency room and they gave me an injection. After about 4 hours, I was discharged and sent home. I couldn't eat anything without vomiting, but after two days I recovered. My dad was really scared and so was I. I thought it was because I had a virus, but it turned out it was because of the pill.
