invention, photography was done by professionals. Now, anyone can take a photo. Though colour photography was invented in the late 1800s, colour film was not used until the 1950s. The digital
camera was invented in 1975, and digital cameras were sold in 1990. Today, more digital cameras are sold than traditional film cameras.

تعتبر الكاميرا من الآلات التي أحدثت ثورة في عالم التكنولوجيا، والكاميرا أو آلة التصوير هي عبارة عن آلة تستخدم لالتقاط الصور وتخزينها، ويرجع أصل هذه الكلمة إلى اللغة العربية وتعني قُمرة وهي المكان المظلم أو الغرفة المظلمة، والقمرة هي المصطلح الذي استخدمه العالم العربي الحسن ابن الهيثم في إعداد تجاربه البصرية، ونتيجة لترجمة الكتب العربية وعلى مدى قرون تم اختراع الكاميرا التي مرت بعدة مراحل وعلى يد أكثر من عالم أجنبي، ويوضح هذا المقال متى اخترعت الكاميرا.
 متى اخترعت الكاميرا
مرّ اختراع هذه الآلة بالعديد من المحاولات الفاشلة، ولكن تعتبر أول محاولة شبه ناجحة على يد العالم جوزيف نيبس عام 1827 للميلاد، أي نجح في التقاط صور للأشياء التي كانت تستغرق ثماني ساعات لتظهر الصورة ثم تتلاشى فيما بعد، وفي تلك الفترة كان العالم لويس داجير فرنسي الأصل مهتمًا في اختراع الكاميرا وأجرى الكثير من التجارب الفاشلة، ولكن تغيرت التجارب عندما قرر أن يعمل مع العالم نيبس، وأجرى العالمان تجارب عديدة، ولكن في عام 1833 توفيّ العالم نيبس، وقرر داجير أن يستمر في محاولاته ونجح في عام 1837 في تطوير نظام عملي للتصوير الذي سُميّ باسم نظام داجير. في عام 1839 اخترع العالم داجير أول كاميرا ظهرت للعلن في فرنسا، والتي سُميت باسم الداجيروتايب، حيث اعتمد اختراعه في تثبيت الصور خلال 30 دقيقة على صفائح من الفضة المطلية بالنحاس، التي عمد على تغطيتها باليود التي اعطاها خاصية الحساسية للضوء، وبعد تعريض الصفائح للضوء لدقائق قليلة، يتم غسلها بمحلول من كلوريد الفضة، ليتم بعدها الحصول على صور دائمة باللون الأبيض والأسود التي لا تتلاشى عند تعرضها للضوء.
نبذة عن مخترع الكاميرا
يعتبر العالم لويس داجير هو أول من اخترع آلة التصوير الفوتوغرافي، وهو من أصول فرنسية حيث ولد في عام 1787 للميلاد في مدينة كورجي شمال فرنسا، وتميز خلال فترة حياته باهتمامه بالفن فهو فنان، وكذلك عالم كيميائي، ونتيجة اهتمامه في الرسم خاصة المناظر الطبيعية راوده حلم تصوير هذه المناظر دون رسمها، ونجح في عمره الخمسين من تحقيق حلمه باختراع أول كاميرا تعمل بالنظام الشمسي والتقاط الصور، وتوفي داجير في عام 1851 في فرنسا.
تطور اختراع الكاميرا
