Special Privileges

If I witness positive behavior that I want to celebrate, I may offer that student an extra privilege such as Play-Doh time, free time on iPads, library time, or being a teacher helper. This also includes "passes" such as a "no homework" pass or "bring a stuffed animal and blanket" pass.

Treasure Box

I may offer students a trip to our class treasure box when I see positive modeled behavior. There, they can pick a prize!

Fuzzies and Class Store

Students will have an opportunity to earn fuzzies throughout the day for positive behavior. At the end of the week, I will lay out our class store where they can exchange their fuzzies for prizes and privileges.

Verbal Warning

Loss of Privileges

After 1 verbal warning, students are to receive a consequence of losing their access to privileges such as free time or working in a group, depending on the situation.

Note Home in Agenda

Student may receive a note home to inform families of negative behavior in hopes of improving it. If this does happen, please have a conversation with your student on our expectations, as I will too. This should further instill our class rules in their choices moving forward.

Minor Infraction/ Referral

If needed, a school-wide consequence will come into play. Meaning, behavior may warrant a write-up via minor infraction or referral. A minor infraction is a formal note home, and a referral is a behavior report that has to be reviewed and handled by school administration.

Removal from Classroom

Crisis Plan
