 I hope you're well. Everyone here is very excited because we're getting ready for Dad's 50th birthday. That’s why I'm writing as we're having a surprise party for him.
Will you be able to come? We are planning a big family get together on Saturday 11th October - it's the day before Dad’s birthday. Mum wants to invite all our relatives and in-laws as well as dad’s friends. Granddad is also organising one of his famous barbecues in the garden. I'm really looking forward to It. We’ll make the necessary preparations like cooking and decorating the house on Saturday afternoon since Dad usually plays golf then. He gets back about 6 o'clock, so please be here by half past five.
