Processed food substances are artificial meal that everyone in America consume. It picked up popularity in the mid nineteen century. The authors of this website , Elea Carey's purpose is to relay a message and spread awareness to inform everyone what exactly they are eating. The people they are trying to inform are those who eat these products which are us Americans.

This website is warning us about an Orwellian warning to show the restriction in food. In the book there is a food brand called Victory. They are a type of food with Victory in front of them. For example, there is Victory Coffee everyone drinks and Victory gin with many other types. Same way with processed food and Victory brand food products they are fake, or artificial. Processed food has not yet been proven completely safe on the long run. This is a case where is mirrors our world as for the sake of cost efficiency we make fake artificial food to feed our people as Oceania does the same. We should care as the things we put in our mouth is obviously not trusted. It is from a website called GAWKER. And the author is Maureen O'Connor. This comment was created in September 12. 2012. They are trying to say that for every five fast food chain there is one grocery store. And this comment's purpose was to spread awareness on how the unhealthy amounts of calories that are being sold compared to the healthy food.

This is an Orwellian warning of the restriction that is placed on us to eat. This connects to 1984 as there is a place called the canteen where people get together and eat unhealthy food as its the only thing they can eat. Same way in America as it mirrors 1984's Oceania, the amount of fast food chains compared to grocery stores show the restriction being placed. Obviously people go to more fast food chains since the food is already cooked and ready compared to grocery stores where you have to cook for yourself. But, the high calories given to us makes it unhealthy. We should care as our health determines so much aspects of our life like lifespan. This was made from the dangers that GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) can bring. GMO is a process where a DNA is being artificially forced into another pool of GNA. The person who created this is named Gary Null. And their message that they want to relay is the dangers that GMOs hold like weakening immune system and failure of multiple organs.

This artifact shows the Orwellian warning as in the book 1984 is shows how unhealthy everyone is and not a single person being healthy. For example, Parson is extremely over weight and Winston has a ulcer on his leg. From the fake things they eat is obviously the cause of their unhealthiness. As GMO does the same thing which harms us. This is where the Orwellian warning comes into play and the restriction of food. With higher yields in crops able to feed more people will actually harm them. Orwell's warning to be careful of the food restriction we receive as the only things we can eat are GMOs. This meme was a website from a website and was made by Amy. The author is talking to people who wants to know more about eating healthy for children. This meme is trying to say the price between healthy and unhealthy food.

This is another warning by Orwell about food consumption. In the book 1984 the outer party which are the middle class and proles which are the lower class, these outer party members and proles receives rations. As the inner party which are the high class and governments, they get to eat whatever they want. This shows the food restriction as people in the high class can afford actual healthy food. And those in the middle and lower class have no choice but only receive a certain amount of food that is unhealthy. This is yet another restriction that Orwell warns us. We should care as those who eat unhealthy will continue to do so making them unhealthier. The author's purpose is to raise awareness and have some people take actions for this problem.

This is one of many Orwell's warning in food control. In 1984, Winston faces heavy hunger not enough for him to eat. And his family mother and sister starving is a form of warning Orwell is trying to tell us. The warning is to not let people go hungry as misfortune will happen to them. In 1984 Winston being so hungry making him hog all the food resulted in his mother and sister abandoning him. We should care about this as people being hungry in America will cause unhappiness which will result in disorder just like how it happened to Winston.
