مكانة الصّلاة في الإسلام فُرضت الصّلاة على المسلمين ليلة أُسري بالنبيّ -صلّى الله عليه وسلّم- إلى السّماء في رحلة المعراج، والصّلاة من أهمّ الفرائض وأوجب العبادات، وهي الرّكن الثّاني من أركان الإسلام بعد شهادة التّوحيد، فهي صلةٌ بين العبد وربّه عزّ وجلّ، يناجي العبد فيها الله تعالى، ويخضع بين يدي مولاه قائماً وراكعاً وساجداً، كما أنّها الفارق بين الإسلام والكفر، وهي أوّل ما يُحاسب عليه العبد يوم القيامة؛ فصلاحها صلاح لأعماله، وفسادها فساد لأعماله، وقد حرص المسلمون منذ أنْ فرضت عليهم الصّلاة على إقامتها في أوقاتها، والاجتماع لها حيث يُنادى لها في بيوت الله تعالى، لأنّهم أدركوا فضلها وعظيم منزلتها عند الله عزّ وجلّ، حيث وعد الله -تعالى- المحافظين على أداء الصّلاة بالجنّة؛ فقال: (وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ*أُولَئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُّكْرَمُونَ)،[١] وتوعّد الذين يُفرّطون فيها ويتقاعسون عن إقامتها؛ حيث قال: (فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعدِهِم خَلفٌ أَضاعُوا الصَّلاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَواتِ فَسَوفَ يَلقَونَ غَيًّا)،[٢
