On sunrise, the slaves have to wake up and start working. Till sunrise to sundown, they plant, stack, bind and harvest, and it's no easy work. They sleep in a wooden cabin that contains a hay mat as a bed.

This act wanted citizens to return any slaves that try to run away and send it back to its owner.  If they were caught helping runaways, they will be fined 1000$ or go to prison for six months.
