However, these manacles also. restrains her ability, so. that she can't attack anyone. This was possible because these manacles were made from silent stone, which is made from the blood of silencers and concrete.

This event is relevant because their marriage represents alliance with Norta and the Lakelands.

This is relevant because there was a war between Norta and the Lakelands meant to take over the rivers, so the Reds were sent to war starting from a particular age. However, those ages were lowered to 15 so that there were more soldiers. This book helped me get a brief understanding of the political and social background when Chairman Mao ruled China. However, it was about her childhood, so it might not be exact. Still, it helped me realize that I should be thankful for everything I can do. My choices, entertainment, and situation is very different compared to Ji-Li. This makes me rethink about what I complain about and do everyday.
