Integrated Studies allows students to connect and relate to the Australian Curriculum as well as other areas of learning. It is important for teachers to ensure that each discipline is carefully planned and linked to the Australian Curriculum as well as learning area. Teachers need to make sure that the planning process is relevant and appropriate to the classroom setting and environment. It is also important to take into consideration other aspects of students learning that can influence and effect their learning abilities. Evaluation and feedback allows students to also have knowledge and understanding of what areas need to be focused on more and which areas students excel in. Teachers will also have a better knowledge and understanding of students likes, dislikes, strengths and weakness both on an individual basis and as a group. Evaluation and feedback can also be incorporated within planning of lessons as it also allows teachers to focus on areas of learning as well as students who need further assistance and guidance within their learning experiences and development.  Having positive relationships with families and providing them with feedback on their children’s learning progression will allow families to also be involved within their children’s learning and development and therefore can also assist, encourage and motivate students with learning within their personal lives and environments.

Having positive communication and relationships with families and local communities will also contribute and influence students learning and development. It is important for teachers to take all aspects and factors that will depict and influence students learning and development. The 4 C’s will provide teachers with the necessary information that will provide students with the best education and as well as encourage, motivate and assist students with their learning experiences and areas of development.
