To me, art is something that has been created by a living being that can be experienced by another. I think it deserves a broad definition because art is so many things! I think art is incredibly important for various reasons that I could go on forever about but a few are that it teaches you to appreciate creation, it teaches you skills, and because this world would suck without the beauty of art. When I think about art as a concept, I think back to the earliest forms of art, things like cave paintings and drawings that were made to depict something that could be seen. Art since then has evolved. I would go as far as to say it has even transcended it's original definition of a visual language. It still is that, but it can also be more then that. Art can be sound and performances and actions. It has become a means of expression. For that reason, I believe art is still a form of communication of language, and the spectrum of how it is used will continued to expand.]]> 2022-02-08 19:58:34 UTC https://padlet.com/tdehoyos1218/mgy5ni327smx8ss1/wish/2036406590 https://padlet.com/tdehoyos1218/mgy5ni327smx8ss1/wish/2036569275 Art means everything to me because it is how I and billions of others throughout history have expressed themselves, the world around them, and their imagination.
