The Vietnam leader was communist and the Vietnamese people wanted to Rebel and they rebelled with a war. That dragged Americans (Many People In My Family) South Korea and South Vietnam into the war and made them send troops to help the fighting sides. There for it affected Military families because there loved ones had to go to war and American Politics had to divide the Army so that we could fight in both wars.

Red Scare- The rounding up and deportation of several hundred immigrants of radical political views by the federal government in 1919 and 1920. This “scare” was caused by fears of subversion by communists in the United States after the Russian Revolution.
