The book is about a creepy crawly camping adventure with a hamster called Humphrey and some girls.

The boys were pulling a little prank on the girls so Humphrey pulled a big prank on the boys. The prank was him standing in front of a torch and the torch made him look like a monster. When the boys saw Humphrey's Shadow all of the boys ran inside their house.

It was a very funny book when Humphrey was in the tent and his shadow was showing because it scared the boys.

I love reading about Humphrey because I have my own hamster called chub.
