She said it wouldn't be the tennis that would hinder her performance.

Her team won and she crushed the game. I had to eat my words because I doubted her.

I have always been a fitness person. I like physical activities outdoors, in contact with nature. But since I became a mother, I haven't been able to do physical activities and have become sedentary. A week ago I told my sister that I was going on a trail to get to the top of a mountain and rappel there. She laughed and said I wouldn't do that. When I got there and did all the activities, the first thing I did was to send her a video and make her eat her words.

Flamengo was playing against Grêmio and the match was very exciting. In the last minutes, Grêmio scored a goal and opened the scoring. Then my brother started to complain, saying that Flamengo always concedes goals at the end of the match and that it would be another humiliating defeat. However, in the last minutes of the game, Flamengo scored a goal and the match ended in a draw.

Flamengo didn't win this time, but my brother had to eat his words, lol

I gave my best and after six mothns, we won! Well my client had to eat his words.

At the end of last year, I was taking part of a closing meeting, when a coworker questioned the results of my area.

The problem was not the questioning, but the way he did it. In a way as if he did not trust the results presented.

At that moment I remembered a great lesson learned in the past when I had to apologize for my words and eat my words.  If you find yourself in a situation where you have said something you regret, the best thing to do is to breath deeply and count to ten.

So, very carefully, I answered the questions, and my colleague thanked me.

But due to the situation created by his behavior, in the end, he had to eat his words and apologize to the others.

Your words and actions are a reflection of your character. Make sure that you are always putting your best foot forward and that you are eating your words.
