Water Powered Loom 1780's

Interchangeable Parts were invented by Eli Whitney in 1798, Interchangeable Parts make it so that you can produce parts of guns that are identical to each other, this makes it so that if a part of your musket breaks you don't have to go to a gunsmith and have him make you a certain part, but you can simply purchase the required part.

In 1844 Samuel F.B Morse got a patent for a machine that would connect the nation. The machine would send electrical signals along a wire which could be translated using something called Morse Code.

Steam Powered Train 1829

In 1829 an English family found a way to further improve trains. They did this by presenting the steam powered train, which was a train that was powered by the steam of coal, and was quick at transporting goods.

Mechanical Reaper 1847

In 1847 Cyrus McCormick opened a factory in Chicago that produced mechanical reapers. The reaper was a horse drawn machine that cut and gathered wheat and other grains. The reaper could do the work of five people using hand tools.

Erie Canal 1825

In the 1820's the Erie Canal was being built and in 1825 it was complete. The canal went from Albany to Buffalo, Buffalo being on the coast of the great lakes connected the Eastern United States to the Western United States.
