Wallwisher is a powerful tool that could not only be very beneficial to use in a classroom setting, but it could also be used to interact and plan with co-workers, department members, teams, and faculty and staff. With personal experience, I know it can be difficult to find time to meet as a department, however, it is expected and required to have PLC meetings on a weekly/monthly basis. In the past couple of months we have had a hard time finding the time to meet in person. Recently with all the snow days and end of the first semester madness, my PLC group has been e-mailing ideas, lesson plans, and handouts instead of physically meeting. With the will to still share ideas and resources, e-mailing has been helpful, however, it can be difficult to reply to all group members with specific answers to questions and problems. Using Wallwisher would solve those issues by allowing co-workers to comment on each and every post. Also, instead of having to save and keep track of daily e-mails, posting on Wallwisher displays all posts and comments in an orderly fashion. These posts are easily accessible and will remain on the created wall until you are ready to dispose of the information. By using Wallwisher, group members can control who they want to invite into the conversation or they can choose to keep each post public and allow anyone to share new ideas, thoughts, or concepts. I believe that the features that come along with this unique source are endless. Teachers can collaborate with one another and create new ideas and lessons by using this tool in many different ways.
