During this trip we visited Ontario because were were invited to dance at their biggest Ukrainian festival. There were many sponsors, spectators, and a huge donations given to Ukraine and their army. We had lots of fun and good time.

My Reflection so Far

1. Yes I have started volunteering. I try to to go every Sunday for about an hour and a half. So far, I have somewhere around 6 hours.

2. Volunteering is such a diverse type of thing. You really have to set a correct and right mindset for it since you are doing this from your own will. At the end it’s all worth it. The experience, emotions, and events, that you get to encounter and speak to people about , while being able to help.

3. My main concerns is to clean, help out, socialize. Its a easy process for me since I’m already very well known and connected to the people that I see at Church, and overall happy that I’m making it a stronger community than it already is.

4. I have been going got this church since I was little. I’m really thankful for my parents and for being who they are and making me into the kind and great person I am. Reputation is a key factor and when you feel like you have a big one, you realize that you mean a lot to these people and gives you a sense of comfort but , at the same time , wanting to do better.

UPO "Orange Wave", (Ukrainian Public Organization)
I chose this agency since i have been apart this community since a child , and grew up with all the people having a close relationship towards each one of them.
Usually communal church service work, but also being part of all the different events and sponsors that are set up through the organization , which also includes participating in Ukrainian Traditional Dancing.
Peace, Justice , and Strong Intuitions
Being a long Genocide and Invasion in Ukraine at the moment, by me and the one of many Ukrainian organizations in Chicagoland area representing this goal I feel like it gives it a better understanding through the events that are currently happening in the world and how it leaves an impact on people in our society and just truly shows how we can all come together a make a very big and positive difference through peace, justice, and intuitions,

This UN goal aligns with my project because it promotes my actions to help raise awareness as well as fund the War in Ukraine. With this evidence from the website, "Armed violence and insecurity have a destructive impact on a country’s development, affecting economic growth and often resulting in long-standing grievances among communities.", explains the consequences that may happen without the help of an organization.

This article explains Americans views of The conflict between Russia and Ukraine and brings concern if its even worth to care for Ukraine being attacked by Russia.
"the oldest Americans are more likely than younger Americans to perceive them as important to both U.S. national interests and to them personally".
"When it comes to the importance of each conflict to them personally, Democrats are more likely than Republicans to say the Russia-Ukraine war is important to them (65% vs. 56%)", I guess that at the end of the day , it all comes down to politics and how it sort of all divides us. Not everyone has the same opinion of course , but that's why there needs to be more unity and resembles between people so others can join and also have a sense of pride in helping others grow and better themselves through peace, justice , and institutions.

Global: "After over a year, there is no end in sight for the war in Ukraine Millions of civilians are unable to return home. Many still in the country are forced to live without access to food, water or electricity, in fear of constant shelling."
This is the whole moral of my CEP project and my UN goal which is to stop things like this from happing in the world and to keep pushing forward.

This is one main affects that accrued in the US due to the War in Ukraine. When an invasion occurs, it creates significant political instability and increases the risk of supply disruptions of oil and gas, which leads to a rise in prices of gasoline.

Local: " Charity Organization, founded in 2022 by leaders of major logistics and transportation companies in USA. Its objectives include providing a wide range of medical, military, and humanitarian aid to Ukraine."
Due to the ongoing consequences in Ukraine, vast amounts of Ukrainians accompanied by other major leaders and communities (which I was apart of) came together as one to help, donate , and spread the word to encourage others to help stop the war together.

Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine's ambassador to the United Nations was the guest of honor at the Day of Unity celebrated by the Ukrainian community of Chicago. The day marks the anniversary of the Act of Independence and Unification of the eastern and western part of Ukraine on January 22, 1919. We were also honored with the attendance of Congressman Danny Davis, Congressman Mike Quigley and Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, and also the consuls of Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania, as well as city officials. The struggle for freedom and independence continues to this day, when Ukraine is heroically defending itself from the brutal invasion of russian forces. Ukrainian are united all over the world in their fight for independence and freedom with a strong belief in their victory over evil. It was truly an honor to be able to attend and help other administers make this event happen.
