Name: The Adventure of the Baby Turtle

Type: Roll-and-move game

Introduction: The Adventure of the Baby Turtle is a fun and exciting board game for players of different ages. Players are required to control a baby turtle and race to reach the finish line. Along the way, players must overcome obstacles such as jellyfish, sharks, and so on. However, they are given the opportunity to collect treasures or potions to help them survive the challenges.

Elements include: Treasures and potions, mathematics and scientific questions (primary and secondary school level)

Players: 2-5 people (age 12+)

Times: 15 - 30 minutes

1) Place all baby turtles or the characters on the starting point, which is a pirate ship.

2) Each player takes turns throwing the dice

Rules:

1) On your turn, throw the dice. Move your piece forward the number of spaces indicated by the dice roll.

2) If you roll the dice to 1, you gain the "Wizard's Hat" and can immediately roll the dice again. The Wizard's Hat adds a buff to your baby turtle.

3) If you roll the dice to 4, jump to space 21.

4) If you roll the dice to 6, your baby turtle is attacked by a jellyfish and goes back to the starting point (pirate ship).

5) When you roll the dice to 9, you must skip your next turn because the baby turtle is in a cage. 

6) If you roll the dice to 13 and 23, your baby turtle can get a "Wizard's Wand" but need to answer the questions to win the treasures. If you fail to answer the questions, you must leave the treasure where it is. (PS: The treasures obtained can be used to defend against attacks by other creatures)

7) If you land on space 16 and 34, the shark attacks, and your baby turtle returns to the starting point (pirate ship). However, you have the option to use acquired treasures/potions to resist the shark's attack and prevent your baby turtle from being sent back.

8) If you roll the dice to 18, the jellyfish attacks your baby turtle, sending it back to the starting point (pirate ship). However, you have the option to use acquired treasures/potions to resist the jellyfish's attack and prevent your baby turtle from being sent back.

 9)  If you roll the dice to 26 and 35, your baby turtle can obtain the superpowers in the "Wizard Potions" and draw lots to determine which superpowers are exclusive to your baby turtle. (PS: The potions obtained also can be used to defend against attacks by other creatures/escape from the cage)

10)  As you roll the dice to 29 and 41, you must skip your next turn because the baby turtle is in a cage. However, you have the option to use acquired potions to save the baby turtle.

11)  Rolling a 31 sends you back to space 19.

12)  Landing on space 38 results in your baby turtle being killed by a wizard skeleton, so it returns to the starting point (pirate ship). However, you have the option to use the antidote obtained from the "Wizard's Potion" to save the baby turtles.

13) If you land on space 45, a demon attacks your baby turtle, sending it back to the starting point (pirate ship). However, you have the option to use any acquired treasure/potions to resist the demon's attack and prevent your baby turtle from being sent back.

14) The first player to reach a score of 46 more wins the game.

Comment: The game is interesting and exciting. Each of the players can raise awareness of cherishing food and reducing food waste.

Comment: The game sounds like a lot of fun. It is a simple game to understand, but it can be challenging to win. Players need to be strategic about their movements and answer the questions correctly in order to progress.

• The probability of acquiring the treasure and potion cards is quite low due to the infrequent opportunity to land on the designated spaces.

• The game's design seems a bit boring as players are regularly sent back to the starting point after facing enemy attacks.

• The game takes a long time to finish.

• Treasure and Q&A cards are underutilized due to the limited number of designated spaces on the game map.

• The Q&A cards' educational potential remains untapped, limiting their effectiveness in achieving the selected SDG, quality education.

• Sir suggests forcing players to answer questions in all danger and stop spaces. Correct answers will reward players with free potions, while incorrect answers will result in a few steps backward.

• The question seemed too long and complicated so Sir suggested that we simplify it and convey it in MCQ format.

• Sir and Media Master also proposed transforming treasures into beneficial cards that shield our own baby turtles and converting potions into detrimental cards that harm other players' turtles.

• Media Master suggests creating a 3D baby turtle that allows players to view both its front and back.

• To gather feedback on a prototype board game from both internal and external testers in order to identify areas for improvement before finalizing the game's design.

• The abundance of intricate symbols on the game map can easily overwhelm and confuse players.

• The difficulty of the question is high and not suitable for answering in a short time.
