-Animal habitats sorting- Provide pictures or toy animals representing different habitats and ask students to sort them based on where each animal lives. Guide discussions about the specific food, water and shelter needs of animals in each habitat.

-Sensory exploration- Set up sensory bins or stations with materials representing different habitats such as sand, rocks, water and plants. Allow students to explore and interact with the materials while discussing the needs of plants and animals in each habitat.
