I love the idea of block scheduling with the flexibility of push in or pull out. My thought is how does this looks min wise on an IEP? this article talked about not being tracking in min but by trials - could we write less time for the students if we block of time for that grade? Similar to how co-taught min are written?

15 min but we are in that grade level for 30 giving us time to see everyone but not holding us to 30 min they could potentially get more m or less time depending on their needs for the week…

I have seen several articles that support "speedy speech" for articulation. Most say 5-minute sessions of high-frequency drills are the most impactful. I always see this for articulation, and it seems to make sense.

I think minutes could be written as 130 minutes per semester. That would target having 2 five-minute sessions each of our direct therapy weeks.

For scheduling, block off by classroom. Get all of your kiddos on a cycle, just pull them out like teachers do for dibbles.

I could also see bumping these to 10 minute sessions with our kids that delay and require frequent redirections.

I love this idea, but also question how it would be written on the IEP. I was thinking about starting with one grade level and we do this block of time with the mild to moderate kiddos and see how it works. I think maybe with the use of other, we could make this work.
