         <title>The nucleus is like...the city hall...</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>City hall contains the blueprints for the city of London, ON and acts as the headquarters of a city.  Important decisions about activities within the city are made here and the uphold the laws of the city.  This is similar to a nucleus, because the nucleus is the headquarters for the cell.  It contains DNA which are the blueprints for all of the cells activities.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The post office receives incoming shipments and sends them out to their correct destination within the city and outside the city.  This is similar to a golgi apparatus because it processes and modifies proteins and lipids, packages proteins and lipids into membrane-bound vesicles and sends them to their destination within the cell or outside the cell.</div>]]></description>

This is similar to the mitochondria which convert chemical energy from nutrients (i.e. glucose) to usable energy (ATP) for the cell to work.</div>]]></description>
