They had a very nice life after marriage. When Shoba got pregnant and then they realized they had a still baby , they blames themselves and found fault on each other and drifted apart. They never had a proper communication after this incident to talk it out and sort things in between them but instead Shobha decides to break things and one day when the electricity blackouts they confess each other, that's when Shoba tells Shukumar that they should end things and Shukumar gets angry as he still loves her and wanted to lead a happy with her no matter what happened. We all connect in one or the other way! When people desire or expect too much from a relationship we can see there can be a harm in it. When we are in relationship we should remember that we don't have to satisfy anyone, we should try our best to keep them happy but it doesn't mean its a duty to do it. This story has the same issue. Shobha expects too much from Shukumar and even they blame on each other for have a still birth.
