National: In the last three years in Chile, 381 women had been killed for their gender. Just 14,5% of the cases have been resolved and 51% of them are in progress. The rest of the cases haven't been investigated yet which has lead to a lot of protests.

Local: The case of Antonia Barra, a 21 year old women who went to Pucon with her boyfriend and bestfriend. On september 17, she went to a discotec where Martin Pradenas, a 28 year old man, started harassing her. The cameras showed how Martin forced Antonia to go to a cabin with him while she was drunk, where he rapped her. Almost one month later of keeping this as a secret, Antonia telled her boyfriend what happened because she was too afraid to tell her parents. She was allegedly muerder and kidnapped by Wayne Couzens, a 48 year old police officer. For example, dove which is a worldwide company, makes women marketed products more expensive. In this case there is  a 30 cent difference, which may not seem as much, but when you have to buy this product more than once, it adds up to about 11 bottles a year. This is 330 cents a year which is just one of the products because deodorant, razors, etc, are not included.
National context: In Chile, there was a study made, which showed different categories and the percentage of the products that are marketed for women, being more expensive than the ones marketed for men. The categories were, infant articles, adult personal care, luggage, furniture and bedroom supplies, and lastly, toys and accessories. This study concluded that the difference of men  and women's price in products was 21,4% when there is a comparison of 224 products.
Local context: Very close to were I live, one time I went to a hairdresser and I noticed that the price for a men haircut was cheaper than a haircut for women. I asked why it was and they said because of the tools that are used but after I researched, I found that a hair scissor is cheaper than an electric razor. (I researched the exact kind that was used in that hairdresser).

First of all, because the information was separated under subtitles refering to parts of the case, and they where also orginzed in the order that the facts ocurred, which made it more comprehensible. Also, because there where pictures icluded which made sense with what the texts was explaining and made it clear to see that things actually happenes. And the last reason is because it was very complete. It had information about everything you needed to know about the case.

Source 2: This source was about my  national scale topic. It was about the song performed during the feminist protests of 2019. I would recomend this source because there was a lot of information, which was good because it was complete and very reliable for research. Also, it was good because it was about something from Chile, but it was written in english, which helps me a lot for my research. But, in my opinion it could have had more images, because with so much text and little image supporting it, the reading can turn out quite long.

Source 3: This source is about the murder of Sarah Everard. It is recomendable, becuase it explaines in a detailed manner, the facts and conclucions of the case. It concentrates specifically on the murder, and not much on the movement her murder started in London. Which could be considered bad, because of a lack of information. But in my case it´s good, because that way I have more specific information on that area of the case, and it is complete.
