This particular kit does not come with tablet so patient would need to have one of their own to use 

Patient has to be tech savvy enough to answer survey questions through app or email, take vitals correctly, potentially participate with physician in virtual visit, this could be a bit much for elderly population 

This kit is used to monitor patients for COVID symptoms, wish it had capabilities to monitor patients that currently have COVID 

Unclear if the reimbursement for remote patient monitoring out ways the cost of the kit for health systems

]]> 2021-10-04 21:22:27 UTC https://padlet.com/dmsenical/Bookmarks/wish/1790895803 dmsenical https://padlet.com/dmsenical/Bookmarks/wish/1790914033 I believe this kit has great capabilities in detecting COVID-19 symptoms in a high risk population in hopes of deterring the need for hospitalization.  I wish however, that once symptoms were detected and patient tested positive, it could continue to monitor them while the patient is at home quarantining with COVID-19.  I think it is great that it has 2-way text and video capabilities, but I am concerned this could be a lot of technology for senior patients. They would definitely benefit from a demo of this so they understand what they are going home with and how to set it up. I think it is amazing that it tracks their vital signs and seems easy enough for the patient if it was demonstrated to them and they were able to teach back.
