I am Sabau Viorica, a Romanian language teacher at Iuliu Maniu Secondary School in Zalău, and I am delighted to participate in the eTwinning project. Together with my students, we aim to explore Romanian culture and language alongside partners from Europe. Our goal is to promote intercultural exchanges and develop the linguistic and intercultural skills of our students. Greetings from Greece! My name is Ourania Politou. I am ICT teacher and eTwinning coordinator at the 7th Primary School of Komotini. My students are 12 years old and we have so far participated in many eTwinning projects. Apparently, up to three of these projects were granted national quality label. We have already presented our work in seminars and educational courses and we are to do so in an upcoming international conference. We are looking forward to be a part of this new intercourse with all of you, as art, literature and culture are so interesting and important for us and we are really excited to exchange knowledge and experiences with you!

My name is Vera Afonso and I’m Portuguese. I was born in Gaia, near Porto, the second biggest city of Portugal. I’ve been teaching English since 1997 (I also taught Portuguese for a couple of years) and this is my 6^th year working at Secondary School of Caldas de Vizela, which is located in a town near Guimarães, the craddle of Portugal as a country.

This school year I am working with 10^th and 11^th – grade – students and I think that they need to go through different learning experiences and etwinning is surely a great opportunity for them to work differently and be challenged.

I hope to learn a lot with the founders of the project and all the partners, because I do not have much experience as far as Etwinning projects are concerned but I am eager to learn!
