After witnessing how the year turned out, I never knew I would see my relatives and cousins that year. But, fortunately, I did. That whole of December was easily the best time I had that year. And in that month, the best time I had was the New Year's party. Me, my mom, my dad, my sister, my grandmother, my uncle, my cousin brother, my aunt and my cousin sister. We had gone to my uncle's house. We had a small party there. We played games like Chinese Whisper and Dumb Charades, we put music on the speaker and danced and  we bursted crackers on the terrace. It was the most fun I had that year. Everything seemed so hopeful back then, but unfortunately came the "lockdown". 
When we say the word "lockdown",  we generally have a very constricted image of it in our minds but I feel that ironically, this period has been very productive and has opened a lot of new windows for me. I have not one, not two but so many moments which can be highlighted in the past year. 
It has been a year of introspection about myself.
I found new hobbies like cooking, playing the veena and just spending more time with nature and the surroundings. I made new friends - both in school as well as in the social circle, despite the current circumstances. I delved into more of the theory part of Bharatanatyam and have learnt so much more from this artform. I also developed some interest and passion in indulging in social services and I have donated E-Waste, participated in cloth recycling drives, book drives, to name a few. Lastly I found out that elocution seems to be my forte and I have won the 2nd place in the inter-house elocution competition.
