face-to-face and online classes  work well with rubrics but very time intensive.
discussions don't necessarily replicate what happens in face-to-face classes; ends up being more of an assignment than active discussion. leads to instructor discussion fatigue.
using new rubric under DE eval., not sure how it will result; very scary looking because more comprehensive
