I was the first in the family to go off to a four year university, and I was far away enough to not have to visit every weekend, but close enough to be in the same time zone. 
I love science so then I took as many science courses when I began my undergrad here at Holy Names University. Teaching wasn’t even in mind, but I wanted to work with people, and I had gathered ample knowledge about the world. I worked in a couple of non-profits, and worked very closely with the center for social justice and civic engagement department of Holy Names, that essentially led me to teaching.

As a teacher we take on many hats and I think that I keep loading up on a whole lot more information as I finish up my Masters and Credentials. I feel excited, and ready to apply what I learn to my classroom pedagogy.
