Each of us do not live our lives in a bubble. The sociopolitical context of where we grew up, the history of that place and space, lives inside of each of us whether we may know it or not. Teaching the girls about the context of their community and place can give insight into deeper roots of the systemic issues they care about.


How can we helping the girls understand this historical context and what sociopolitical awareness means.
