         <description><![CDATA[<div>On the board: date, journal prompt question with sentence stems starters.<br>Turn &amp; Talk partners anchor chart with names of students and cues for how to do it.<br><br>Everyone in front of class doing "workout," minus 1 student finishing breakfast.&nbsp;<br>"When I say go everyone in their spots, readdddy go!"<br><br>All of the students are seated with partner. Javier (student helper) moving slides forward. Activating prior knowledge.<br>Using popsicle sticks as tool to increase engagement.<br>Vocab review in both languages leveraging students strengths.&nbsp;<br>Connecting story to student's lived experience.
