         <description><![CDATA[<div>In Japan, people were ranked by class. While the top rank belonged to the emperor, The Shogun was the true ruler and was the highest rank military commander. The Daimio was ranked below them, they were powerful samurai. after that came samurai warriors, then peasants and artisans, then the merchants.</div>]]></description>

Guns ended up having a huge impact as people without guns would not have much of a chance against people with guns, vastly changing the scene of Japanese culture. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Christian mercenaries came not long after Japan started trading with europeans. Japan decided that  was fine because they did not want to upset the european countries they were trading with. later, more and more Japanese were becoming christian and the Shogunate became worried. After an uprising occurred in southern Japan caused by mostly christians, the Shogunate decided to ban christianity and drive out the mercenaries.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After realising how much europeans were trying to change Japan, Japan decided to isolate. Japan Isolated for more than 200 years. Japan only kept one port open, Nagasaki, and it was only open to Chinese and Dutch traders. Nagasaki is also known for being bombed with the second nuclear bomb of WWII (fat boy) thus ending the war. </div>]]></description>
