Kek is a hopeful person. When a dark event is on the scene Kek bring the hopeful side. Kek is also stuburn in a good way because Ganwar keeps telling Kek to give up. But Kek is stuburn and hopeful and keeps telling Ganwar no my mom is alive this place will accept us and ect. There is also a theory that I think Kek will convince Ganwar into beliving in him!

Kek is VERY HOPEFUL and VERY KIND. One evidence that i have is that everyone thinks that his mom is dead but Kek is hopeful that his mom is alive. And also he is kind because he wanted to help hes aunt with the dishes but it brooked so he got a job to buy new dishes.

I think a theory is that Kek's mom might have gotten shot somewhere on her body but survived because Kek has his cloth which is part of her moms dress and it is all bloody.

Kek is positive, optimistic, courageous, brave and extrimily hopeful because even though most of his family and friends in Sudan got hurt or died because of the men with guns, his mom disapeared and Ganwar Kek's cousin got his hand chopped off he is still a happy person because he is hopefull and hopes his mother is alive and even though Ganwar said he should not be too hopeful. Another example is on page 43 in the chapter called Night Kek told Ganwar that he thought his mother was alive and Ganwar said that hoping for something does not make it true, although Kek said he still hoped and Ganwar said that a man knows when he is defeated.
