We did many different activities. Many of these activities made me nervous and uncomfortable. These forced me to talk to different people. It helped me to learn different things I wouldn't have learned before.

At first I said no, I would never do something like that because I am afraid of heights. My family convinced me to do it and told me that it would be fun. I ended up going and I completed part of it. It ended up being exciting.

This relates to the theme because I would not typically do anything that involves heights. Typically I would be scared that I would get hurt however I went despite that fear. One of the opportunities I wanted to explore was the student government. Unfortunately I was very nervous to do it because I knew that I had to do an in-person interview which I don't typically do. I was also very nervous about having to meet new people. However I knew that I would regret it if I didn't apply so I did it anyway and I got in.
